Henry Clay shoots 59% from 3 for the game including no misses in the second half. If they shoot it like that they are going to be real tough to beat. Henry Clay is a very good team. Pun played great last night like he has all year. No reason anyone should sleep on that kid ever! Williams held to 4 points for the Bulldogs last night and battled some foul trouble throughout the game. Dunbar heads to Taylor County this weekend.

This win secured the 2 seed for Lexington Catholic in the District tournament. Also, Lafayette is the 3 and LCA the 4.

I coached in a Christmas tournament in New York a couple years ago and they use a 30 second shot clock. No shot clock violations ever happened. I will say the only time I can see this being a positive is in the postseason when a team would try and slow the game down and control the clock. Not a big fan of having one but I can see the pros and cons of it.

Possibly the most underrated kid in the state.

Hollingsworth 20 Williams 14 Lewis 11 D. Brown 9 Johnson 20 Payne 11 Morris 6 Dunbar trailed most of the game between 3-5 points. Great game plan and execution by the Knights. Coach Salsman did a great job dictating the pace and really slowing the Bulldogs down. Hollingsworth and Lewis made plays down the stretch to allow Dunbar to escape with the win. Williams had all 14 of his points in the second half. Johnson added 6 assists to go along with his 20 points and Payne collected 11 rebounds for the Knights. Dunbar heads to Henry Clay on Thursday and Lexington Catholic hosts LCA Thursday. If LCA were to beat Catholic this would force a 3 way tie in the district for the 2 seed between Lexington Catholic, LCA, and Lafayette. The 43rd District Tournament is once again going to be an all out war!!

Central was 11-19 from 3 for the game and 7-9 in the second half. If they shoot it like that they can win the 7th region. Especially with the quickness they have all over the court.

Dunbar has also played Perry County Central and Henry Clay once with another game left against them.
