If Williamstown can play their aggressive style without fouling then they can win this one. But I don't expect they will. GC 49 - 42

I've noticed this as well. But more often then not a teammate will get the rebound as a result of the good box out. Another observation is the lack of an over the back call. It seems that unless you are making the effort to box out the ref won't make that call even if it may be a foul.

I would have to give the credit to Henry. They came out after half time and really turned up their intensity. Henry hit a couple of 3's and played tight D.

Who was did most of the scoring for Owen?

Henry is a very scrappy team. Carroll had a 10 point lead at half time, Henry cut it to 1 point in the 3rd. Carroll hit some big shots and kept the pressure on throughout the game. Henry finally ran out of gas. The game was close until 3:30 to go. Very few free throws were attempted. My guess is less then 10 total. Nice win for Carroll

This is an interesting thread. I have had this same discussion with many. Here is an observation. What are some of the things that happen on the floor that can change momentem: 1 Blocked Shot 2 Take a Charge 3 Get a Steal 4 Cause a 5 sec call (on the floor or out of bounds) 5 Cause a 10 sec call 6 Hit a Three 7 Get a basket and a foul 8 Dunk I'm sure there are more but if you look at the list 5 of the eight don't have anything to do with scoring.

If Gallatin can limit the second chance points and defend the 3 I think Gallatin can win this one. When I saw Owen the other night I was impressed with #25 Echo Kemper? She plays hard nose defense and gets a lot of offensive rebounds. Unfortunately she got into foul trouble.

Gator, will Gallatin play zone in this one.

This could be a good match up for Trimble. If they can defend the 3 well they have a good shot this one. Walton has a young player that could cause some problems I think her name Kali (Soph) It will be close with Trimble getting their first win.

I was surprised Carroll stopped attacking the basket with 4 - 5 min left. They had Owen on their heals with a 16 point lead. They allowed Owen to get back in the game. Carroll needs to hit their free throws, at one point they missed 4 in a row. I think Carroll should have won this game by 20.:jump:
