Carroll was rolling by 17 about mid way through the 3rd quarter and then it all went down hill from there. Owen finished the game on a 23-9 run and were within 2 at one point. But the Lady Panthers hung on. Good comeback by OC.

Owen County will not give up as long as Bob Osborne is in charge. The Lady Panthers need to work on rebounding and make better decisions in the 4th quarter. The rematch between these 2 teams should be interesting.

I was surprised Carroll stopped attacking the basket with 4 - 5 min left. They had Owen on their heals with a 16 point lead. They allowed Owen to get back in the game. Carroll needs to hit their free throws, at one point they missed 4 in a row. I think Carroll should have won this game by 20.:jump:

If Hanna Devine keeps working hard and improving over the next 5 years (she is an 8th grader) the sky is the limit for her. She is averaging probably 11-12 points a game and is as cool as a cucumber. She hit two big free throws to put the game away last night and nailed a three pointer with less than a minute to play.

Fouls 5 points I think about 7. It was not her best game but she played good D.

She always seems to have good D' Super quick! I was just curious how she did. She seemed to have double digits in points every game this year so far!
