I would seriously doubt there will be a big change in Henry County's schedule in the future. They are going to play Eminence, Trimble, Carroll and Owen out of tradition. I'm not sure how many games NCKC teams are required to schedule within conference for football, but these schools take pride in being able to beat one another. As for the other 3 non-conference, non-district foes, maybe.

If they're one of the top two teams in their district, you might could see some regional sentiment. I can very well see your point though. Not necessarily these two teams but there are some votes you'd have to question.

After the start they've had to the season, Mayfield needs a statement game, to show they are still the big dog. In the past, they have always stepped up to a challenge, moreso in District competition. I'd expect the same to happen here, especially with it being at home. I expect Crittenden to make a great game of it but have to take Mayfield.

What about the transportation part? Do schools bus kids to golf matches? Just curious on how the transportation for golf is taken care of.

Don't they have the girls state basketball tournament in Bowling Green? I have a solution, since the only place that matter are those who live in populated areas, we'll have the tournament in Sparta at the Kentucky Speedway. Paint some stripes on infield and mount some goal posts. Parking definitely won't be a problem. Then, it is close to Louisville, Covington, and Lexington. You could pick which city you want to nightlife in after the game and drive there in less than an hour. If NASCAR won't come, bring on the KHSAA.
