Taking nothing away from CCH, but it sounds like Dixie's D was awful.

That tells me that when he was running up the sideline that someone from Dixie was too close to the white line and he had to move out of the way. Now, the team really deserves a penalty for that don't they? What a joke.

I'm saying let the kids play the game. If there is a play that has a significant effect on the outcome of the game, then call it, but if not, don't just throw the flag to throw it. Take the sideline infraction penalities, I'm sure it is some sidejudge that really wants to be a part of the action.

Typical High School Officiating. They see something on a college or pro game, and they say "Hey, I'm going to call that in my next game."

Tough loss for Dixie. I'm sure that will be a long bus ride back. As tough as it will be for the seniors, I'm sure the Dixie staff will be glad to get this year behind them. Definately the toughest they've had in a while.

I hope you're correct, but I just don't see it with this team. Take last year for example, Dixie rolled Campbell and then got embarressed by CovCath. Maybe if they get hammered by Campbell, they'll be ready for the first round of the playoffs?

This one is tough to predict. I think the teams are eveningly matched, but the only thing Dixie needs to do is come away healthy for the next week. With Campbell only playing for pride, I could see Dixie shifting into cruise control and letting some of their key guys watch most of this game. Campbell will probably win.

You're not quite correct. Dixie will play Boone next week, and yes, Dixie did lose to 2 teams that Highlands beat, but I wouldn't be so quick to talk about it when Dixie did wipe the field with Highlands, and pretty much did whatever they wanted to them. The Holmes loss in week 1 definately is a major thorn in the side of Dixie's season, but since they can't win the championship, at least they can smile at the fact they absolutely demoralized Highlands. By the way, good luck against Beechwood.

Please remember that I'm a Dixie guy....... NKY is blessed with great coaches, but, like him or not, you can't ignore Mueller. Best program in NKY, period.

Parents need to understand that these types of rants do nothing but hurt team unity. I've seen plenty of parents market their displeasure, and nothing good every comes from it. I think some parents have a hard time admitting that their team, and/or kids, just aren't very good. Tough situation to deal with nonetheless.

Great Job Campbell. They made the plays and Dixie didn't. They had plenty of opportunity to put the game away, and just couldn't do it.
