Jesse, I believe you are correct, it looks as though Boyle Co. is not open after all. It didn't make sense that it would open up again so soon, so it is a good thing that stability is being established.

I was just assuming that it was since they offered the job to another person.

West Carter- I have heard they offered this job to the Lady Vikings head man Scott Tackett. If that does not work out then i have heard they may go after a Rowan County Boys assistant who has previous girls head coaching experience. Has anyone else heard anything about this job?

Who has applied for the Carroll County girls position? Coach Mefford did an excellent job and may be very hard to replace.

lexington Catholic just announced thier new coach today....Scott True of GRC. Now GRC is open.

Everyone guessed that with her daughter graduating and their huge losses to graduation. She was always good with us. We wish her the very best.

There was not one article in the local paper about Coach Douglas resigning. Now maybe we can play St. Patrick again on the girls side. Pretty bad for McKayla Likins, Coach Douglas promised her the world to transfer to St. Pat and it cost her a year of playing. Likins plays one year, loses first game in District to Mason, and now Coach resigns and leaves her high and dry. Tough!!!!

Former Bishop Brossart Coach Josh Grooms is there in the wings, but he just had their son born. So he may not want to do it. Timing sometimes is everything.
