Has anyone heard anything about the Carrol Co. job? Who are they interviewing?

I have heard that West Carter was supposed to announce very soon who there new coach is going to be. Has anyone heard anything?

Any new developments over the weekend for any of these jobs?

Raceland has hired Randy Vanderhoof (former football coach and current baseball coach) and Greenup County hired Mark Cantrell (formerly at Elliott County). Vanderhoof replaces Bob Trimble who moved over to the boys job for the Rams.

Any favorites for the Oldham County Girl's position? How good will they be next season?

 

It cannot be a good sign for the Lady Colonels if there still has not been a coach named to lead the program. Oldham County had its vacancy posted before practically all others, so the outlook doesn't appear to be bright. Only time will tell - will things change competitively in the 29th district, or will the status quo be maintainted??? My thoughts are that South Oldham will remain the boss.

Oldham has made a hire and he will meet with the girls this Friday. However Coach Wright from South Oldham has accepted the job at Ballard so it could change momentum to another 29th district opponent. Next season still should be South and after that with a new coach, and new ideas anything can change.

WIKI Radio is reporting that Bardstown's Paul Stone will replace Coach Randy Mefford at Carroll County. He will assume the Girls Basketball Coaching Position and AD Position.
