How do you put Pendleton County 4th when they were defeated by 18 by South Laurel and not put Scott County in the top 5?

I dont even think PC is a top 5 team.

Both are legit top-five. And SL is not 18 points better than Pendleton on a neutral floor.

My decision to put Pendleton County in the top 5 will depend on how they do in the MCIT. They have the opportunity to play 3 solid 10th region teams if they take care of business every night. If they do come out on top, then they should be ranked in the top 5 of the state of KY. ;)

Since Pendleton County won the MCIT, I believe that they are a legit top 5 team in the state. ;)

Just don't understand why teams like PRP , Scott County , Henry Clay , Holmes rank so high ....... PRP with 4 losses with one to Doss , E-Town and 2 FL. teams ... Doss lost to John Hardin and DeSales ... I guess they had a bad night .... But teams like Jeffersontown is ranked #12 to #15 and Scott #1 or #2 above South Laurel that is 13-1 with a loss to Brentwood and Jeffersontown 13-1 only loss was to Broome ,S.C.

I don't understand why PRP , Scott County , Holmes , Henry Clay is rank so high ...... PRP with 4 losses one to Doss, E-Town and 2 FL. teams ...... Doss lost to John Hardin and DeSales that has 5 losses .........Scott ranked #1 or #2 above South Laurel that is 13-1 with only loss to Brentwood and Jeffersontown ranked #12 to #15 and they are 13-1 with only loss to Broome , S.C. ......... Scott County is a great team but not a #1 OR #2 @ this point and may not win this week @ Mason ........

Before dragging all these teams through the mud, have you seen them all play? There's more to the equation than just wins/losses. And you are putting too much stock in this Scott Co. loss at LexCath. They are legit No. 1 or 2.

So let's see your top 10, sfan ...

To add: Scott Co. may not win at Mason. South Laurel may not win there either later this month. It's a tough place to play against a traditionally top-notch program. But a tough road loss against a good team is no reason to start getting too crazy and dropping teams out of the top 10 when visual evidence tells you they belong there.

In my opinion these are the top 5 teams in the state this year:

1. Scott Co.

2. So. Laurel

3. Shelby Co.

4. John Hardin

5. Pendleton Co.

I dont even think PC is a top 5 team.

Have you seen them play, or are you just going by numbers?

1. South Laurel

2. John Hardin

3. Shelby County

4. Pendleton County

5. Scott County

(6) Warren Central (7) PRP (8) Scott County (9) Shelby County (10) Doss or Male ....... Holmes and Henry Clay that will have trouble with Central in the LIT not in the 10 .

Here's mine for what it's worth

South Laurel - until somebody beats them in Kentucky they are the No. 1 team without question. Are they as good as last year? We might start to find out this week at the LIT. They have a tough draw!

Jeffersontown - Yes, they lost Mr. Basketball but a better TEAM this season and Thomas Coleman has size and ability in the middle.

Elizabethtown - They are for real folks. If they didn't have to play John Hardin five times this year, it would be a cakewalk to the Fifth Region title.

Lafayette - Improving and still room to grow. I still think they'll prove to be the best in Lexington in the end.

Scott County - I know they lost Lexington Catholic but the Cardinals are still one of the top 5 teams. They're talented

You're kidding about Central and Henry Clay, right? I just watched HC drill them not a couple of weeks ago, and I have no doubt they'll do so again.
