Very inconsistent. It has been that way all season long. I thought there were some really bad ref's in the 9th region, but I think the 10th could be even worse.

The official who made the call is a former well-respected Bluegrass Official serving his first year in the 16th Region.

 

Josh was barking at him, however, as previously stated he did not show him up, there were no hand/arm gyrations, and why he simply didn't turn away and administer the free-thow is a bit of a mystery. It was certainly bad timing for the Lady Stangs.

When that game started Feldman said something about a call and that ref gave him the a nasty look. I think from the get go he had it out for him and for the technical, your right, he didnt say anything that bad that shouldve earned him a T. The officiating was horrible!!! If im not mistaking the 2nd half Brossart had 9 fouls to Mont. Co. 3 fouls???? I dont wanna take anything away from Montgomery Co, they played a great game and they earned the right to move on. Brossart's still a young team and hopefully they'll be back in it next year with all that talent.

The T was terrible. I was sitting not to far back and from what I seen he was just asking him about the call. To me the ref has no right to T a coach up in this type of game unless he gets out of control and that wasnt the case here. Congrats to Coach Feldman and the girls at BBHS on a great season, This will be great experience for them for next year. Regardless the game was decided by BBHS not being able to knock down some shots. My lady bears will have there hands full tonight against Mntgomery, but one thing I did notice is that there were times Montgomery looked very tired.

I walked in right when it happened...just in time for the Mustangs faithful to verbalize their disapproval.

What was the score when it happened? I can't remember. And how much time was left? Wasn't it the early stages of the 4th quarter?

I think it was late 3rd beginning of the 4th, I can't remember. BBHS was done by like 6 - 8 at the time and was in the middle of a run. After the "foul" was called on the BBHS girl which she was on the ground after being knocked down by the MC player is when the coach got his T. The shot was good and she made the and 1. Plus MC made both FT from the T and then made the basket after getting the ball back. So after all of this they were down by another 5 points. I think it was 12 points after this but I could be wrong. After this they seemed to really go flat and could not score.

 

Like I said before have not been impressed with the refereeing so far this tournament.

 

I also have to say, Brossart had no inside game this game and their outside shots were not going in.

2 of the guys working this game are going to Bowling Green for the Girls State Tournament.

Is there a quota for each reagion? Based on the last two nights, that's the only way any of the 6 men I've seen would make a state level of anything. Poor &/or no calls all the way around. I now see what everyone was saying about 16th region officials.

So with both Brossart Teams done, I guess the BGH is back in the pasture.
