Worst News Ever - Someone Feel My Pain

Okay, so putting it into context, it really isn't the worse news ever, but...

Just found out today that we have an extremely important training March 15th & March 22rd, which will last all afternoon. I have been planning on taking those afternoons off since October because watching the NCAA tournament, no matter who is playing, is my absolute favorite thing to do and I'm not exaggerating in any way.

What makes matters worse, I checked and if Kentucky plays in Lousville (which it looks like they will) they are scheduled to play in the Thursday/Saturday slot. If they play an afternoon game, I'm going to have to miss their First Round and their Sweet 16 game (assuming they win).

In context of all the bad things that happen to people, it really isn't a big deal. However, it is something that I look forward to every single year. I purposefully save days to take off for the tournament (maybe one day when I have a family, I will have other priorities). When I got the e-mails this morning I felt just an awful feeling in my stomach haha! Someone please feel my pain, maybe we can request that Kentucky gets slotted for the night games. Either way, I'm still bummed that I'm going to miss out on a lot of basketball.

Are you sure you have your dates right....March 16th and 23rd are Fridays....Louisville is a Thursday/Saturday site, so assuming UK is there, you should get to watch the first two rounds. Atlanta is a March 23rd and 25th site, so the Sweet Sixteen game will be a conflict, but I'm pretty sure they start those games at 7:00 PM.

Sorry, I fixed it. I was looking at the wrong month. But I have the meetings on the 15th and 22nd...the Thursday.

I am very sorry to hear that. I hope you will have smartphone access during the meeting.

We are doing some really important OSHA training, definitely won't be using a smartphone unfortunately.

I'm just bummed to miss any of the games, but keeping my fingers crossed.

I've been spoiled the past few years I guess haha!
