But Wales soon felt uneasy about it and didn't make the decision public elsewhere.

 

The following weekend, Wales officially visited WKU, which helped change his mind.

 

Today, Wales announced his intentions as he signed his letter of intent with the Toppers.

 

"I just liked the program," Wales said. "It's a good program for me to play in and I can grow as a player and make it to the NFL. I felt like WKU could make that happen."

Good for him. Is Travis Elliot also going to be a RS Freshman? That's two good backs in the stable, assuming both stay at running back

I hear U of L had to make a move and gave him at least two deadlines. When he didn't accept, they went with the Florida RB.

Demarcus Smith Jerrill Moore are also going there, they might have a very good team soon. U of L failed to get a kid from Jefferson County.

There seems to be some hard feelings concerning UL's recruiting in Louisville, which could be good for UK.

Yep, you would think they could get at least one kid from their own county, and next year with Trinity having 4/5 D-1 kids it would show them that U of L wants local kids. Well, I was wrong and Coach Strong said he offered.

WKU would be dangerous with Wales and Elliot on the field at the same time!
