I don't disagree with your sentiment.

 

Too often before it's been the easy thing to go into the Sweet 16 and the matchups look that way only to have the thing pan out differently. I'll be the first to admit that two years ago I wasn't giving a snowball's chance to Shelby Valley. Looking back, I STILL can't figure how they pulled it off (though I'm sure that semifinal against Scott County was brutal for the Bruins). That many games in that short time span leads to unexpected things...

 

That game could be a crazy one and it's lucky the winner gets a day off before having to play again.

Very true. I am looking forward to that match up regardless of who is playing in it.

They meet in the first or second round a bit...have they ever played for the final?

 

 

Dont know if they have but it would ruin the tourney financially. 500 people in the seats. Hotels would be alive and well with people parting watching the NCAA tourney. NOBODY LIKES THE LOUISVILLE SCHOOLS, ESPECIALLY THE THE ONE THAT GET KIDS FROM ALL OVER THE METRO AREA, ALL YEA INTO INDIANA AS WELL Just better you meet in the first round and get it over with.:banana:

Most posts were made before the district tourney. You are right that Holy Cross did get beat in the district and will not be playing for a trip to the state.
