I hear they are real close to signing him, I was told most likely a one year deal.

 

To signing him? He is already under contract for this year correct? It's not like they had to sign him back, and I doubt he would accept an extension just for one year.

It sure sounds like the Reds are trying everything in their power to bring Roy into the fold, so that may be. Hence why I asked if he was talking about Phillips.
