NIT isn't so bad, you play more games like last year. NCAA, they way we shoot might be home soon. Did you people know that the UK/Bama basketball game was played same time we had our National Championship celebration. I think the game just ended when the Celebration began, but if you watch the game you would have missed it. Not fair timing for the basket boys. Bama still needs to control the state for players, they lose a lot of kids.
The NIT is not bad for up and coming teams looking to improve and make next year's NCAA tournament. Bama did this last year. The NIT would be bad this year. Why does it matter when the football celebration was? They were not playing in Alabama.

It matters to the Bama fans who would have like to seen both, the game was already set, celebration could have been set later in the day or next week. Fans were not pleased and the game was on TV. Team playes better at home like most teams and they have been on the road a lot, but still need to finish strong and wake up. Or it is the NIT.

I have a relative living in Birmingham. He said that leading up to the game all that the press and fans were talking about was the celebration......virtually nothing about the Bama-UK basketball game. Bama has a culture of football and Kentucky has one of basketball. That's just the way it is.

Obviously. And that was my point. Bama fans care about their basketball like UK fans care about football.

Well we are spoiled winning the most NCs and having many records in football. UK needs to win a few to be in the same class as Bama.

Kentucky's history and accomplishments in basketball are every bit as impressive in that sport as Alabama's are in football.

Nope, sorry. I can run through some things if you want me to prove my point. I'll let y'all build your case for the debate first, but remember they all play for a Championship, not to make a final 16. But I'll add one thing and that is we have 14 of them. I have several points but need to wait.

14>7 = Alabama Football>Kentucky Basketball
