^ How is that looking to seed out? Montgomery/Clark have the top two spots?

Where is the district tournament that Montgomery County is in held at this year and who else is in that district? Thanks.

 

WE are in the 40th district.

Paris

I believe GRC and Montgomery are tied for the top spot and there is a coin toss to decide who is 1 and 2. Someone may know for sure on this.

We play Bourbon and Paris only once each year, but play Montgomery Co twice. Our district is seeded.

jahearme...you are right the crowds were rocking this weekend at the Joe B. classic...if the regional tournament is half as good, both support and playing, then we are in for some great basketball...

If 3600 was the announced crowd, don't see any way that gym would hold 4000, seemed full to me,except for standing. Will the concessions be bigger for the regional, will there be more concession areas other than the one? Loved the gym and all the bells and whistles(backed seating), but without a dog in the hunt still like The Fieldhouse better, like having a Cracker Barrell close though.

I was told the year that we opened the Arena, the GRC/Montgomery County game had around 3900 and there was room for more. The fire marshal says 4200.

Went to several games there the last time the regional was there and from a fan's perspective it seemed to work out well. All in all it's a nice facility.

Might be a a bit off topic, but I thought I heard something about there not being a JV and Frosh tournament? Any details or reliability to that statement?

Never been a regional JV tourney in the 10th to the best of my knowledge, but the freshmen do play a regional tourney culminating in an overall champion.

With the districts starting tonight. Though I would bring back up this thread to remind everyone of the Regional tourney dates and times.
