Glad to see Highlands OLineman Austin Trapp on this list. He did a great job and deserves some recognition.

Agreed.

Congrats to all selected.

I would have replaced True or Wolterman from NewCath over Scruggs. Those played the whole season for their teams and were very key parts of the success that the teams had on defense.

I agree on Scruggs. I would go with Carter New from Highlands in his place. Rest of the list is very solid IMO. Congrats to all!

The news paper doesn't talk about what LB - Max Nussbaum Beechwood did at LB all says is what he did on offense and special teams nothing about how many tackles, sacks don't make since.

UK#1 Fan, just an FYI, Beechwood coach Noel Rash doesn't like to release defensive stats other than interceptions. He believes too much credit is given to the tackler and not the guys who helped create the tackle.

Hope that helps.

VOR: It was down to those two actually and the coaches voted Scruggs first team over New, so went with that. Any other questions you guys have I'll look on here from time to time and respond.

Thanks for the feedback Richard. Scruggs is a talent, that is for sure. He has to be the fastest player in N. Ky.

I agree, but how many games did he miss last year? New was a game changer for Highlands and Wolterman was a huge player for a NewCath team that went into the Regional Final as the #1 team in the state. The coaches tried to spread the wealth, and that's cool, I just don't think that it was right to do.

I saw both New and Woltermann a few times each and didn't see Scruggs (can't get to every game) and while I agree both players are very good and coaches do tend to spread the wealth for All-Star teams, it's hard not to defer to their judgement in the case of a tiebreaker.

For the most part, this sounds good to me.
