Survivor: One World (Updates)

The only ones from this season that would be good on an All-Star season to me are Troyzan and Colton.

Honestly, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wish Colton would've never had to leave. We'd be looking at a completely different game right now.

I almost said the same thing earlier but I was scared to admit it publicly.

And I wouldn't be watching anymore.

I just don't see how anyone can be entertained by the bore you to tears contestants that are still left. Even you have to admit it's incredibly boring when you know exactly what's going to happen before each episode even airs.

I am also irritated at the show producers for that challenge they put out there last night. That challenge was bogus.

Yeah, that was something off of the Real World/Road Rules challenge shows.

Which one? The immunity one?

That's the one I am talking about. When I think about the reward hallenge was kind of weak also but you would think that even in the reward challenge with some of the answers given people might have seen things differently. Smart move for Kim to pick herself when it was down to three people.

They typically have a challenge similar to the reward challenge every season, or at least every other. So that wasn't really anything knew.

Outside of seeing Chelsea all greasy, the immunity challenge was extremely dumb.

Not for me. Maybe it's my age but I despise showboating, trash talking and most other forms of self aggrandizement that are common in today's athletic events and other competitions. I just don't understand the need to not only beat someone at the game but then to also be insulting about them. When I was younger it was called sportsmanship. I value it and I appreciate it when people can excel and display it. I don't see it as weakness, I see it as strength of character. As to knowing what's going to happen I'll go back to Boston Rob again. I'd say by week 2 it was pretty obvious that those lemmings were going to let Rob lead them off the cliff but because Rob was eliminating people and then downgrading them in confessionals that was entertainment? I'm sorry for being an old fogey but I just don't find someone acting like an uncouth boor with a superiority complex entertaining.

So, I take it you enjoy watching paint dry as well? :D

No I enjoy watching people who can actually perform their chosen endeavor well without the apparent need to make sure that everyone sees what they did.

So it's fine to enjoy watching people lie and backstab each other for a million dollars as long as they are nice when they lie and backstab?

Exactly the reason I asked that question a week ago. Had Colton stayed at least the game would have been different. He would have rallied the guys i think.

I have a lot of appreciation for Kim's game. I just think the drama usually sells more.
I like Kim and I think she has played a great game. I may be in the minority but I think it's ok to watch. Not the best season but I appreciate it.

I'm also a fan of the fact than in a season full of complete unknowns I called the leader before the season even started.
