Coach Robert Jones did not have the gameplan down tonight as SW crushed us. Hopefully we get back on track soon or we may have to schedule Casey 6 times next year.

I thought Mccreary had some pretty good wins this year. You act like they cant beat anyone but the worse teams in the region.

McCreary has had some success. Butler was a great win for our program. Losing Tyson was a big loss at this point. Hopefully we can make it out of district, Monticello is going to be a tough game with big Tyson. Coach Robert Jones will have us rolling by distict time. I have the faith.

I would have to agree I think McCreary has had some impressive wins this year, a good win over Pc and certainly a good win or Butler. They certainly dont have a great deal of size without the young man that is hurt right now, I think they would certainly be a different team with him. I thought they handled the press alot better, just didnt have much size inside without the big kid playing.

Hurt.

Figured that. Out for the year or what?

Tyson is a load. He has made Coach Robert Jones look like a million dollars this year. Sort of like when Watts was here.

Tyson sat with me at at the Lincoln/Garrard game on Tuesday night and told me that he dislocated his left kneecap but would definitely be back to play when Lincoln travels to McCreary next Tuesday night. Now, whether he was told he could play by then or if he was just being optimistic remains to be seen, but I hope he is not out for long. I LOVE that kid! :thumb:

Thanks for the info. I hope he is able to make it back soon as well. I hate for any kid to miss time on the court because of injury.

He has been released to start running and has been working the leg. I think they will release him by Tuesday of next week. He will prob. play in Linclon Co. Game if not he will be back soon. We really miss him inside.

That's generally how it works. Not too many coaches look great without very good players to make them look that way.

Name a successful coach that didn't have much talent.

Agree, a Coach must have talent to Win. But the other kids around that talent must be taught the fundimentals. McCreary Can't dribble or pass the basketball. They will not go far in Tourney for this reason. If those other kids could pass and dribble McCreary Could go a long way. Go Raiders.

I agree I agree I agree. By the time kids get in high school they should no how to dribble, pass ect. IMA- it should not take a coach to teach that. Thats what REC teams are for. IMA

And lets see...the current coach has been here how long? And to make matters even more interesting, he has been AD for how long? People would think that if players cant dribble and pass when they get to high school then something is wrong. If something is that bad wrong that the head coach would fire the middle school coaches that sent the players to him that way, and then the AD would be mad as fire that a program was in that bad of a condition and fire the Head coach because all this happened on his watch...wait that wont happen here. AD Robert Jones wont fire Head Coach Robert Jones. The kids pay. End of sentence.
