I don't have any stats for Brossart, but I have Pendleton's,

Ethan Moore 4 pts, 5 reb

Jared Rering 10 pts, 8 reb

Gabe Antrobus 8 pts

Garrett Appleman 2 pts

Mason Monroe 37 pts

Aaron Gibson 8 pts

Andrew Antrobus 1 pt

You don't add up. How about Garrett Appleman 3?

Mason Monroe earned me respect every time I watch him play. Only normally he is playing against up at the time, so he makes me a nervous wreck. He is a natural talent who makes it look easy.

I don't know how many players have ever scored 37 or more against us, ever! A lot more teams have scored less than 37 than players have scored over 37. You cant take that to the bank.

You're correct Mustang, I missed Appleman's free throw. He had 3 points.

I can't say enough about Mr. Monroe. If he could grow another two inches, he would be virtually unstoppable next year. He's not too shabby now though. :D

Also, so impressed by Mason Monroe willing to give up the ball at the end of regulation with Pendleton down 2. Three Brossart players collapsed on him when he drove, and he found Aaron Gibson under the goal for a wide-open layup at the buzzer instead of forcing up. He sure is a joy to watch.

The Mark of a great guard to recognize and find. Best scoring guard in the 10th that is for sure. Sounds like the Wildcats didn't have enough in the tank. They could meet again down the road.

Regarding Brossart stats (from bmustangs.com)

This week the Mustangs would find a way to win, accountable largely to a big 3-pointer and a pair of blue-chip free-throws from Justin Saunders, a pair

of critical free-throws by Ben Uebel, and a major free-throw and a heady break-away game clincher from Sophomore Alex Trentman.

Seven Mustangs dented the scoring column in this one, led by Saunders 19 points. Alex Trentman contributed 17 points, his second consecutive double-figure effort. Zach Fardo and Joe Jennings were the other Mustangs double-figures scorers with a dozen each.

Going into Falmouth and getting a W is no easy task this year. Monroe is a stud! Is he really only a junior?

Congrats to the 'Stangs and good luck to the Wildcats the rest of the way. I'm almost sure these two haven't seen the last of each other...

Congrats to the Mustangs on a much needed win. They have lost some close ones lately and needed that confidence boost going into the A. Good to see a balanced scoring attack last night. Plus they did a great job containing Antrobus. Not such a good job containing Monroe. He played the best I've ever seen him play last night. He was under control and pulling up shooting for that soft jumper. He did go back to his ways a litte towards the end but such a sweet player to watch.

Mustangs look to be tough for several years to come and have a legit opportunity to win the 10th "A" and regular tournaments. I'm surprised PC's bigs didn't play better and I'm shocked Monroe got 37 against Brossart, The kids like 5'7". Was that the game plan, let him get his and stop the big kids? Anyway great win for BB

Brossart has one of the biggest teams in the 10th. Jennings is 6'9 and they have 3 move big men that are a legit 6'5". Not to mention Saunders plays bigger than he is. I dont think any game plan can prepare you for the undersized Monroe.

Good to see Brossart back on track after losing 4 of their last 5. Back when they were undefeated, I had them at #2 in NKY behind Dixie. They are a very capable and talented team.

Pendleton continues to have slow starts and claw their way back into games. i believe the first quarter score was 23-9 Brossart. This takes its toll both physically and mentally to come back from such huge deficits. Hopefully the Cats can come out of the gate a bit stronger in future games. Congrats to the Mustangs. They have a fine team with quite a bit of depth. Anyone have free throw stats for the game? I don't remember them missing many and they hit nearly all the crucial ones down the stretch.
