Low majors looking for a sleeper need to check out 2013 SG Nate McGovney at Campbell County (KY). Kid keeps getting better.

I agree wholeheartedly.

AGREED!

The great thing about Nate, is he is a great kid! Does not cause any trouble at school and is a great student!

Good game for the camels. Guess the bright spot for Brossart is that the freshman and JV both won by 20+ points

Fantastic job by the Camels tonight. A complete team effort.

Dalton Griffin with his best game yet with 13 points.

I was looking at the season long stats for Camp Co. before the game and was shocked to see his numbers down so low this year. Dalton is a great athlete.

Congrats to the Camels! It sounded like a great game.

Sounds like a good one. At one point, all 21 NKY contest entrants had picked Brossart.

It ended with 23 out of 24 picking Brossart. afi100guy was the only one that picked the Camels in the NKY contest. Way to go afi100guy, he as well called the overtime in the prediction thread.

Too bad those points dont count in the varsity game.

Huge win for the Camels congrats !

The prediction thread was much more realistic with 24 taking the Mustangs and 14 choosing the Camels.

I heard from a friend at the game that 3 of the fouls called on McGovney were bogus with his 4th being the cheapest of them all. This was a spectator with no allegiance to either team as Well. Nate must've overcome the adversity.

Scary to think what he would have added to the Stangs if he ended up going there.

Great job Nate keep it up...:dancingpa

I would have to say, they were pretty cheap especially the 4th one. I did not think the reffing was consistent at all on both sides especially, towards the end of the game.

There were a couple of thousand people there. I'm sure each has his own opinion. We lost. I thought the officiating was fair both ways. Rick Chasteen headed up the officiating crew, with an evaluator in the house. Nate Verst and Joe Jennings were also stapped with early game foul trouble, and although we were unhappy about the situation, we are not claiming they were bogus. Why take one man's opinion as gospel?

Actually Nate played with our mini-Mustangs and on our Blacktop League team alongside of Justin Saunders, Trentman, Uebel, etc. when he was in grade school. He appeared heading to Brossart until the triplets surfaced. While it's scary to think of what we might have become together, I'm sure he wouldn't trade his trio of brothers in for the experience - lol!
