There's a big difference between Pitta and Gronk. Obviously you're going to play your top cover guy on the opposition's top receiving threat. Pitta and Daniels are not that.

Pitta was split out wide most of the game, so that is the main reason why he had to guard him. Which Pitta's one big reception came on a 3rd and short where they got everyone to bite up on playaction. So I don't know where he got Clements sucks in coverage based on that. As for Daniels if you remember Daniels was one of the top 3 TE's in the league just two years ago. He then tore his ACL and this is the first year he has started to get back to form. So he is a very big receiving threat, and hard to guard with linebackers and safeties. Hopefully Mays can play this week, because he is one safety athletic enough to guard him and he did a good job when they put him on him in the 4th.

I think they will be more concerned with, 1. Foster, and 2. Johnson.

I never thought I'd say this when talking about the Bengals and playoffs, but they actually have more playoff experience than the Texans.

I think they need to control the clock. A couple 5+ minute scoring drives in the first half (that end in TDs) would pretty much seal it up IMO.

I'm going Bengals 20-13.

I'll be rooting for the Bengals.

^You mean you'd rather go to Baltimore again than have to play in New England? I can't imagine why....:D

It's funny that 3 teams practiced outside yesterday but two of them had temps 55 degrees or above. Brown is so cheap he won't even rent UC's bubble for $2500. I'm just not sold that he's turning the corner when I read stuff like what AJ Green said about practicing outside and that their QB had to miss practice yesterday a day after practicing in 20 degree weather. Of course he probably got the flu from something else, but it's insane that theses guys are practicing outside this week.

^Yep....He's a joke owner. There's no way anyone can defend this clown. Of course, I'm sure FC will come to his defense. Remember SSC, he told us the Bengals would be good this year. Oh, and did you know they've played against 10 top 10 defenses this season? 10! :D

Wait, you mean FC predicted they would make the playoffs and they played some games against teams ranked in the top 10 on D? Where did you hear that?

If you all really want to get into repeating stuff, then I could also list the same things that you all say over and over too. Which then makes me respond with the same stuff I say over and over. It really is a two way street when it comes to that, its not like you all have changed your arguments on this either. ;)

Hey I agree with you all on this. Just because I don't put down Mike Brown when he actually does things right like you all like to seem to find a way to do still. Doesn't mean that I agree with everything they do, there is no reason why for one that they shouldn't have their own practice bubble. They are the only northern most team to not have one, and even then they do have one close by at UC that they could use. I could have bought their argument if they were playing at New England this week, and saying they wanted to get the players use to the weather. However they will be playing in a closed stadium this week where weather is not a problem, so it makes no sense for them to be outside. It really is dumb.

The Bengals have gone 124-215 in those 339 games since their last playoff win (.366).

Wow. And people wonder why some are down on the franchise.

Which would make people wonder why didn't people leave during the 90's and early 2000's. People have decided to leave when the Bengals have now been to the playoffs 3 times in 7 years, and won two division titles. They have been to the playoffs more than half the teams in the NFL since Marvin has been the coach. Then three other seasons they were in the playoff hunt until the final week. So seems weird that now they decided to turn their back, when it would have been easy during the 90's and early 2000's. It seems like since they didn't win a ring with Palmer like a lot of people thought would happen when Palmer started doing well. That people just completely gave in after that, and thought it was going back to the 90's.

Yep. Fans were turning their backs right before Marvin was hired. His hiring and the expectation of the "franchise" QB spiked interest. i do think we will se a turnaround next season, espedcially if they wow the fans in free agency and the draft. However if they don't pass the grade in those two categories we might see further disdain. I think the fact that the record has been so poor overall and inconsistent lately, still lends us to believe the Brown is not capable of sustaining success. The decision to lower prices and an attractive home schedule will also help.

I think the fans will come back when Brown joins this century. Practicing outside in 20 degree weather preparing for a game that will be played indoors when you can rent out UC's practice facility for $2500 is a joke. Having 2 scouts not in the Brown family and no GM or anyone helping shape the roster after 20 years of proving your uselessness is a bigger joke. When those things change fans will be back selling out the stadium.
