December 18, 201114 yr Anyone own one? Anyone know someone that does? I'm curious if they live up to their claims.
December 18, 201114 yr EdenPure = Legit Best decision you could make as far as heating your home is concerned. Things put out a lot of heat but do not get hot meaning you can put things on top of them or have them close to things and not have to worry about fire hazards.

December 18, 201114 yr I own a store brand version of one. I live in a drafty, 100 year old farmhouse and it really does help on my heating. I keep it in the main room that I use and it allows me to keep my thermostat on about 62 degrees. One of the ladies that I work with at school says that she and her husband no longer use their furnace...they only use their EdenPURE. Actually, she may have the same unit that I do. I am, I believe, on my third winter with mine.

You can pm me the answer if you wish.
December 18, 201114 yr I had no clue what this was so I did some research and Amazon.com has them for 377. Cheapest I found online.
December 18, 201114 yr Also the reviews on Amazon are not very good. Heres the link. http://www.amazon.com/EdenPURE-EdenPure-Gen4-Quartz-Heater/dp/B004E2XMQE
December 18, 201114 yr There is something odd about those overly detailed negative reviews on amazon. Why would someone take that much time and be that detailed about a product and not have any personal experience details?
December 18, 201114 yr I have one that I use to heat a basement with. I had used several cheaper electric type heaters in the past that we had to huddle around like it was a fire to feel any warmth. My wife wanted to buy an EdenPURE...I was very skeptical. Since my wife wanted it, naturally we ended up buying one. I would now beat an armed robber with my bare hands if they were trying to steal it. It heats an area it has no buisness being able to heat. It seems to disperse the heat very well instead of just heating the area directly around it.

December 19, 201114 yr You own one? Yeah I do now. My first experience with one was where I worked. I worked for a cellular company in one of their retail stores but it was a small store, I was the only one who worked there. In the winter time the Eden Pure was my lifeline, for cost purposes the thermostat got turned down real low at night and when I would come in the next morning in would be freezing in there. It wouldn't take the Eden Pure any longer than ten minutes to heat almost the entire store from the time I would get there and turn it on. Puts out great heat but they are not hot to the touch. You could actually set your hand on it or set anything on it really and not have to worry about burning. I would never discourage anyone from getting an Eden Pure, I am sold on them. In terms of space heaters they are the only way to go, and like some people said can even replace most standard ways of heating homes making it a lot more cost efficient in the process. I know of people who no longer run any kind of heat in their house aside from two or three Eden Pures that they use to heat the entire house. Like I said, EdenPure = legit.
December 21, 201114 yr I use a space heater to heat my father's room. I can then keep the house heat off or set below 70 during the winter and just heat his room, where he stays all of the time. It saves tons on the electric. I looked into the EdenPure, but I got this one at Lowes. It does not have that expensive looking veneer cabinet, but the specs are virtually the same and it's $200 cheaper.
