Who do you got?

I have HC in this one. The Indians are shooting very well thus far and it is a huge turnaround from last year. Burger is a consistent scoring force and they have a deep bench. I dont expect the Frosh McDonald to have his way with the 6'8 Campbell either.

This sets up as an intirguing matchup of two teams that would appear destined to meet again next month in the All A regional finals if everything goes as it should. HC's biggest advantage tomorrow might be that they've played 5 or 6 games to NC's 1. The Indians really had their way with Scott last night and looked almost scary good at times for this early stage of the season, bringing wave after wave of quality subs that just destroyed any chance the Eagles had of doing anything. Man they can beat a team in a lot of different ways. Two things I'll be watching for in this game is the matchup between bigs Campbell and the young up and comers Schulte & McDonald, and even moreso will Goetz change his gameplan or stay stubborn if the Breds and Hightchew begin to completely carve up HC's press resulting in a bunch of laughably easy layups and 3's like they did last season. Next month's game is more important in the grand scheme of things, again assuming it happens, but tomorrow night will provide a nice opportunity for the Indians to prove themselves as the regional contenders that I think they are. I predict an HC victory in the 8 - 10 point range, but it should be a fun one to watch either way.

Should be a very entertaining game. NCC with a whole week off after losing their home opener to Dixie last Thursday. Holy Cross comes in riding a 3 game winning streak. I think the Indians depth and playing at home will be the difference.

Playing at HC gives them a distinct advantage. Whoever plays better defense will win, as it appears both teams will score.

Why in the world would youthink a 6'5 freshman who has played ONE high school game WOULD have his way against a 6'8 upper classman?

This ain't your avg. 6'5'' freshman.

I was at the Dixie/NC game last thursday and I was impressed with McDonald. He was very agressive underneath and at attacking the basket. He had a night where he couldn't buy a shot but for the 1st time out in a varsity game I thought he did really well.

I heard he had a very good debut. According to the box score he was their leading scorer with just over 20 points. Nice night against the defending regional champs.

He had his way with Dixie, the number 1 team in the Región maybe, I dont know. From what I hear he should be starting in front of Schulte.

Dixie invalidates your theory. They do not play interior defense very well and are small.

If the frosh "has his way" with Campbell the 9th is in trouble the next 3+ seasons.

Last I checked i believe i said he wouldnt have his way with Campbell the way he Did vs Dixie. Then I was challenged by someone who clearly has no respect for the strong Frosh. Now im getting drilled for having an incorrect theory. wow.

I did catch that when I read it. I'm not sure how that was misconstrued. My point was that the youngster's success against Dixie is not an indicator of success against a talented big man. Dixie has NO ONE that plays inside.

Very intriguing game. Statement game for Holy Cross. I like the Indians by 7.

NCC is very good, Holy Cross about 10 points better. Preview of the 9th all A finals.
