Wasn't the issue head-to-head? If so, why does it matter what position and where?

I have no idea what the report says, but he was't flagged for helmet to helmet. And I was commenting on the rule about a QB who becomes a runner. When he slides feet first you have to pull up, the ball is marked where he first makes contact with the ground. If not, and he chooses to not slide, he's treated just like any running back. So, my point is that I wish the rule extended to a QB outside the pocket, not just down field.

Eventually there will be pay back. Very easy for an OL to attack the knees of a rucshing lineman or linebacker. Little high low action.

I thought the hit was awesome. I figured he'd get a hefty fine and possible suspension but it was an awesome hit. One of the first times I have seen Harrison feel kind of bad about one of his hits. :lol:

I don't believe the hit was suspendable. It was just the fact he is such a repeat offender that gets him the suspension. I can't entirely fault Harrison for the hit, as it seemed McCoy had just gotten rid of the ball as Harrison got there.

If McCoy still had the ball it was a penalty. He lead with the top of his head into McCoy's face.

If I played football I would expect to get hit like that on every play and I would hold no grudges against anyone who hit me like that. It's football.

There's no excuse for anybody hitting someone with the crown of their helmet instead of their shoulder pads. I think that's what the league has a problem with. He easily could've made contact with his shoulder and still made a ferocious hit.

 

Suspend him for the rest of the year and he won't quit doing it.

It was a helmet to helmet hit....Why is that so hard for some of you to understand? That's an illegal hit any and every time (regradless of whether it's called or not).
