Thoughts on this one......I will go with PC...they are tough to beat at home...

Beechwood has always been a football school, how are they this year in basketball? Mason County even has them on their schedule this year. Have they ever even played PC or MC in the past? Can't ever remember them being any kind of a basketball threat in their district/region

On paper they have a nice team with good size and strength. Its early and im sure the football guys aré struggling. They will be a nice team but January just like another football powerhouse school i know of.

2007 Pendleton graduate Kane Belcher, who won a National Championship at Pikeville last year, is in his first year as an assistant on Beechwood's staff. He was at the CovCath game scouting his alma matter. Just an interesting side note.

I watched Beechwood play Conner on Saturday afternoon. Not very impressive.

As I have stated since the end of last season, where will the points come from for Beechwood? Fangman was their offense last year. Any time he wasn't on the floor, Beechwood struggled mightily offensively. Now he is gone and I see no one who can pick up the slack. Scoring 28 points versus Conner is more evidence. I guess we will give them some time to figure it out since 2 of their 3 best players have only been practicing for a couple weeks due to football. As to this game, Beechwood will have to play much, much better than they did Saturday to avoid a big loss.

You'll have to color me surprised if this one stay's within 20.
