Interesting that a 6' kid can slow down a strong 6'5 kid in Mcqueary. They should have posted him up or did they. McNeil must be a heckuva defender.

McQueary is a set shooter, he's not going to create a shot for himself...not taking anything away from McNeil because he is a very talented young man and i saw some great defense from him last night.

Right I would agree but Clyde mentioned he has improved his game a little adding a decent attack move with a hard dribble which is why I made the comment.

Once WV gets all the kinks worked out, they're going to be tough! Helton played a heck of a game.

Havent they had probably more time than most teams to work kinks out? Im sure they have all been practicing together since Oct 15th. Any footballers?

Is there problems early at WV? Not a good start for the bearcats.

Look forward to seeing it, my first time seeing them this year

WV bettter get the kinks worked by next week or Gallatin co will crush them like they did Sk. Gc will win either way but what the hay. Not to thread jump or anything. :)

If they beat Boone, it would have been considered an upset for sure, maybe even a big upset.

Loses at Cooper and to Boone Co. is not exactly a terrible start. Maybe bad scheduling, but not a terrible start.

How is Cooper this year?

Looking solid. Beat Conner by 15 after Conner gave preseason #1 Dixie a battle before finally losing by 3.

Mosier and Daughtery were footballers and Cottrell just joined the team a couple of weeks ago. Kimmon and Helton are new to the team. They will be fine when they get some games under their belts and figure out the offense. They beat Henry County today 57-42.

I will agree to bad scheduling. I hope to see WV work out any kinks soon. They can be a fun team to watch and my post said, "not a good start." Never said Terrible, 0 and 2 is not good but I do understand that the two loses are from two solid teams.

New comers and youth. Two players are transfers and two players haven't played basketball in a couple years (almost 100% sure on this). Team chemistry takes time.
