There was one really bad call in the first half where Campbell County should have been given the "and one" bucket, but only received the ball out of bounds due to bad judgement of "on the floor". For the rest of the game the Campbell crowd rode the refs hard. At the end, the Assistant Coach(es) were on their feet jumping up and down yelling "he got hammered" repeatedly with a ref only a few feet away.

 

It was an appropriate bench technical, albeit a missed call on the three point shooting foul. Russell was clearly annoyed with his staff, as he should have been.[/QUOT

 

Kind of hard to ask your players to keep thier cool when your assistant coaches cant......................

When it comes to the refs in any game, any complaining from the coaches or fans seems to make things worse. Sometimes you just have to deal with it and try to out smart the other team and refs. Remember the Titans, when the QB threw the ball at the ref's crotch, just once I would love to see someone do the same thing in a basketball game.
