It's looking like wins will be scarce for the Bobcats this year. Just curious as to who you think they might beat and how many games they will win. Looking at the schedule and the way they've played this year, and I'd say 5 wins will be hard to muster. Ouch! :scared:

Just looked at the schedule and I can't believe Breathitt is 0-7!!! The remaining schedule will be fairly tough, but I think they will win more than five games IMO. I could be wrong, but you know more than I do about Breathitt basketball!! Good Luck the rest of the year!!

I thought they would go about 12 and 12. They still might. Their next four games are winable games for them, Lawrence, Wolfe, S Floyd and Magoffin but I will say, they have lost a couple that I thought they would win. They may not make the 500 mark, maybe the 7 games that was mentioned.

Breathitt lost a lot to graduation and they lost their best player to Letcher Central. They have played a tough schedule but Hall will get them going very soon. They will be competitive in the Pike Central Coke Classic. They play Pikeville (very young like BC) and Pike Central (good team but beatable).

I see the Breathitt/Wolfe game being very good, but I think Gilbert can control down low in this game and help Wolfe more. I have already heard rumors of Breathitt getting a new coach lol. Just cause Hall has 1 down year, look at what happens...

They may not win a game...tough schedule coming up. WOW.

Lawrence County, don't know the score but Breathitt did win and #34 was player of the game. Coach Hall is a class act, good luck :thumb:

Congrats to the Breathitt team. It always stinks to have a bad start, but there are many games ahead, and sometimes, determination to win plays a larger role than talent. I wish Breathitt many more successes throughout the season.

I wouldnt count Breathitt out yet. I remember a few years ago when Breathitt had a bad regular season then they came on strong in the regional tournament and ended up going to the Sweet Sixteen. So I wouldnt count them out yet.

Breathitt had a good year in 96, but was definitely not the favorite. I think Knott had beat them 2 or 3 times that year before Breathitt finally got them in the Region at Knott. While I would not say the Breathitt came from no-where, they were definitely not the favorite. Also was it 1998 or 99 that Breathitt only won two regular season games, but shocked everyone when they won the 55th district tourny.
