OK...I am obviously happy about Coach Beatty and Mr. Quick, but I am equally happy to see Stefan LeFors recognized! Congratulations to all!

Congrats to all, Especially Pokey Harris of GRC....well deserved!!!!

Obviously glad to see Ben Lawler and Coach McKee get the 6A District 7 awards. Congrats to Pokey Harris, Zach Hester, Kaleb Leach and other central KY players, and Coach Brown is doing a good job of turning Madison Central around.

Is it true that if a coach is not a dues paying member of the KFCA then that coach AND his players are ineligible for this award?

Is it true that if a coach is not a dues paying member of the KFCA then that coach AND his players are ineligible for this award?

If true, might offer an explanation to some of the serious flaws that exist in the voting results.

Is it true that if a coach is not a dues paying member of the KFCA then that coach AND his players are ineligible for this award?

Why wouldn't a coach be a member? I would assume their school would pay the dues anyway.

It is true. I do not know why any coach would not be a member, if they are not a total lack of professionalism in my opinion. The KFCA does a lot for football in Kentucky and they need to be apart of that

Congrats to all the winners, and props go out to the all the great players in this state and the coaches who devote their time and energy to helping these kids on the road to becoming men.

A big congrats out to Franklin County Head Coach Chris Tracy and District player of the year, Ryan Timmons of the Flyers.

Does this organization have a website with their mission and membership listed? Not familiar with it myself.

Is it true that if a coach is not a dues paying member of the KFCA then that coach AND his players are ineligible for this award?

The way I understand it, it's true. Some schools pay for their coach to be a member, some do not.
