General statement regarding the fact that Obama's statement is entirely true.

What you call defense of Obama, I call being reasonable and not a political vigilante. There have been plenty of times I have agreed with you and others on the right about Obama. I just don't think he is making a horrible mistake every single day. I have no idea who I am going to vote for next fall. I vote for Republicans and Democrats in every election. If that puts me on the left, then it only defines how far to the right you are.

I am curious in what context he used the term lazy to describe Americans and how he thought it would be of any benefit to woo jobs from overseas.

I just looked it up; the only reading I've done about it is the initial break from the LA Times. I admittedly read far more local news than national news. Doesn't look good for the White House from the outside, especially since the drug is unproven and, it would seem, can't be due to ethical constraints. Is the concern here more that the government paid $2.8 billion for a pill that might not work and may not even be necessary or that it paid $2.8 billion to a company owned by a Democratic Party contributor or that a $2.8 billion contract was not opened up for bidding? I ask because it changes the scope of the issue depending on where the problem lies.

That's not really how it went down. He said "other" issues not "real" issue after you chastized him for avoiding what you really wanted to talk about. If this is indeed what you really wanted to talk about then my original question still stands...
