All Time KHSAA Rusher

I know JC keeps their own stats and while I don't know the stat keeper, I've been told he is accurate and trustworthy. I guess anything is possible, however. JC has never reported stats game by game under Matney, so this is nothing new for them just because Jude is in the rushing title race.

Jude actually needs 243 yards to reach the record according to WSIP Radio, who has kept track of Johnson Centrals stats all 4 years for Jude. They normally do a good job and are very accurate. Prior to the Belfry game, there was a misreporting of Jude's totals by WSIP radio. The correct totals were he needed 362 going into the Belfry game and he rushed for 119 against the Pirates.

The misreport was unintentional, but it did happen. It stemmed from his stats from one game getting subtrated twice on air the way I understood it. They went back and corrected it after the mistake was discovered. At any rate, I feel comfortable with using WSIP's total of 243 to go.

They can't both be accurate, can they? :D

I don't follow you, why can't they?

I apologize if I read it wrong, but I got from this that the WSIP total and the Johnson Central total are 2 different numbers.

Oh, no not at all. Nobody knows what the JC totals are because they don't report them. :idunno:

WSIP misreported their own totals because they subtracted one game twice, but they corrected it.

Sorry if I didn't make that clear. :thumb:

No, I see what you're saying now. It's my bad.:thumb:

But to complicate matters more, and the reason I clicked on this thread in the first place, I was looking up something on Wales just yesterday and saw a post on Jody Demling's C-J blog updating Jude and Wales' chase of Homer. (http://blogs.courier-journal.com/jodydemling/2011/10/31/chasing-derek-homer-2/) Apparently he's been doing these updates weekly, at least of late, and he has Jude at minus-110 yards and Wales at minus-578 from the magic number. Now I wonder where he's getting his numbers.

I am sure Matney is not aware of what Jude's stats are until after the season. He is more concerned with winning. This is very common among HS football coaches. They are not concerned with stats, only winning.

WYMT Sports just reported 124 as the number also, and they said they had confirmed that number with Johnson Central's coach.

If I'm reading most people's opinions right, the thought is that Jude will play 2 more games and Wales will play 5?

I doubt it with all of the talk about the state record or else he wouldn't be leaving him in to accumulate carries and yards in blowouts.
Didn't Britt played his first 3 years at Warren East?:sssh: They should get at least a hyphenate.
If he had of played at Danville all 4 years he would have been the ALL TIME RUSHING LEADER!:D:clap::banana::thumb::walk:
