October 25, 201114 yr Finally got to see the video. I like it! Although...I do like Lady Gaga's version better....maybe it's because it's a song that has a bit more significance when sung by a crazy-dressing, wackadoo personality having characther like her.

October 26, 201114 yr Yes. I have been a fan of the Blind Boys for quite a while. Awesome. Ha...I have a friend whose wife is an ultra-sensitive overly-politically correct type, and she just couldn't believe a band would call themselves the "Blind Boys". I kindly explained that they ARE blind, and that they've been performing under that name for like 65 years. She said, "...oh" and pretty well clammed up. Come to think of it, she yelled at me a few years ago for using the word "Mexican" when I talked about one of my subcontractors because it was so racially insensitive. I had also explained on that occasion that well, he was originally from Matamoros, Mexico...so he IS Mexican, and that Ramirez and I were actually good friends, so I certainly wasn't using that term as a pejorative. Again, "...oh".

February 21, 201214 yr I think Lady Gaga has one of the most beautiful voices in music.She'd weird as heck...but the duet she did with Tony Bennett sounded like something right out of the 40's. It was incredible.
