Scott will do fine in his place. Seahawks will not be able to stop Dalton and company!

I do think the Bengals will win...however it will not be because of Bernard Scott. I don't think Benson would have had a very good game even if he was playing. Doesn't Seattle have one of the best run defenses in the NFL? I thought I read that yesterday.

I think it will be low scoring 13-10 Bengals.

Seattle allows the least yards per carry in the league.. Or at least they did going in to yesterday... And I'm sure they still do. Hardesty had 95 yards but it took him 33 carries to get there.

Seahawks also lost Marcus Trufant and Walter Thurmond in back-to-back weeks for the season, so they are starting to get a little thin at CB. Brandon Browner has been a pleasant surprise but he's only one guy. That's going to come back and bite them soon.. Maybe this week. But it does help that they have maybe the top young pair of safeties in the league -- Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor.

Contrary to popular belief, I'm not a homer and can recognize shortcomings.

^Hard to be a homer when the team is that bad haha jk!

Bengals haven't won a playoff game in 21 years, but that doesn't stop their fans.

Did you see the prediction threads for this year. Not many were over hyping the Bengals.

I did see them... And that's why I appreciate BGP. For the most part, discussions are rational and expectations are tempered. It's the people I encounter in my everyday life where my opinions are formed. The Super Bowl expectations every year, the "Who Dey!" voicemails after they beat someone, the refusal to recognize their shortcomings, etc. It gets old.

This is a huge game for the Bengals. I think this could be the difference between ~7 wins this year and possibly 10 wins. It's always tough to fly across country, but it's after the Bengals bye week and that helps quite a bit. Also the Seahawks looked worse than any team not named the Colts yesterday. I expect Dalton to have another good game and the Bengals to win by 7-10 points. Something like 20-10.

Vegas has opened the line at Bengals -2.5.

I'll take some of that. Close game till about halfway through the 3rd quarter then Bengals take control. 24-10

About what I was thinking, I like the Bengals off the bye week.

Just like everybody thought Newton would suck. He sure surprised some people.

I like Seattle's LB #57. Thats about all I like about them tho. Ill take the bengals to cover this week.

He's probably the 4th best player on the defense...

Seattle has one of the best home fields in the league so I expect a close game and hope the Bengals don't come out flat after the bye.

Tough to win in Seattle and with a rookie QB I'm nervous for that one. I'll pick the Bengals but I don't feel secure in it.
