One would not have guessed this was #1 vs #2. The game was never in doubt. I don't think the Manual QB had a great game. That hurt them big time.Their running backs ran hard but the O-line quit by halftime. Crimson defense had no answer for the Rock offense. To make matters worse for Manual ,their student section taunted Trinity and Quick as mentioned (chanting over-rated) (you s---) (gay) etc. Even if a Manual school official chose not to muzzle the hyena's I thought the Manual coach might tell them to knock it off. If Manual would like to be thought of on the same level as T and X then along with boosting the program they need to offer some lessons in stadium ettiquette to the student body.

You may be on to something. I did some digging in Webster and learned that a seldom used definition of "gay" is an adjective meaninig "50 points better". So I can easily understand why the students were chanting such.

I'm glad someone else brought that up first. I had the point that Manual has what is surely the largest openly gay student bodies on the state in my original post, but decided that might not be taken well.

There's certainly not anything wrong with that.
