Thanks to Mark and Greg for taking the time out of their busy schedules to broadcast this Freshmen game. CovCath Internet radio does a great job of broadcasting not only the CovCath varsity games but usually a Frosh game or two a year. Thank you guys!

CovCath had a very nice balanced attack in the first half mixing the run and pass. I know Highlands made some D adjustments at half that slowed them down the 2nd half but it seemed to me that they got way too 1 dimensional with the bubble screen............

OMG, I was waiting for CovCath to throw to the TE down the seam at the end there but it never happened, they set it up with all of the screens and qb draws but apparently missed their opportunity. WOW!!!!

Highlands will have to play two solid halves next week against Ryle to get a win and a chance to play for another Frosh Championship. Go Birds.........

Another good game by the CovCath defense, who were missing a key player in Braxton Foote.

The DB's played way to passive in the first half.

In the second half CovCath moved the ball but shot themselves in the foot on a couple of drive.

CovCath has a good corp of 6 wideouts, all of who caught a pass last night.

They do not throw the ball down field enough.

Covcath could easily be 6-0.

What that after working all day, then getting to CovCath to help get the equipment ready at 4pm for the game, then riding with the team to and from the game and after the game putting the equipment away, and not leaving CovCath until around 9:15pm, then wanting to get a bite to eat since I haven't eaten since 12noon, prior to posting the scoring summary is hilarious?

 

Strange sense of humor you have there tdyballgame.

 

BTW I what to thank the gentlemen in the press box and that includes the HHS coach who thanked me for the help tonight! Their kindness was indeed greatly appreciated and even if they are HHS guys you won't find a nicer group of people to work with. It was nice working with you again gentlemen and good luck throughout the rest of your season!

Highlands could easily be undefeated right now.

 

A very good game with both teams showing promising futures, too many mistakes but hey they are Frosh, nice crowd, great atmosphere and maybe with some crazy scenarios and a coin flip CovCath and Highlands might play again in the end. Just sayn...................
