Trinity High School senior point guard Charles Foster didn’t need but one official visit to know where he wanted to attend college. The 6-foot-1 Foster visited Morehead State University this weekend and committed to coach Donnie Tyndall before he left campus.

"It was better than I even expected," Foster said of the visit. "I really liked it a lot. When I was there, it felt like I was family to them, like all the players were my big brothers.

"It’s close to home, all the players get along and it’s not too far from home."

Foster, considered one of the top 10 players statewide in the Class of 2012, also had an offer from Austin Peay.

That's awesome. Looks like the class of 2012 isn't wasting any time committing to colleges. It's good to see. Congrats to Charles Foster. I plan to see Trinity play at least once this year. He's another one who had a good summer.

He transferred up to Michigan a couple of years ago. I think Slick is saying there could have been 4 D1 players this year.

Oh! I read it to mean he had transferred in to Trinity, which I hadn't heard about. I couldn't remember the name of the kid who moved to Michigan, so it didn't ring a bell.

What will be Trinity's starting lineup. I know one player is Hicks and then Foster.

I think his last name is Saxton(red head, played AAU with Foster), Diedonne(sp?), Quick, Foster and Hicks.

Just nasty....

So T will have at least 3 D1 players this season? Nice.

Actually, they probably have 4:

Hicks

Foster

Deudonne-getting looks from low D1

Quick-would probably get D1 offer if he wasn't playing football at next level

Saxton-getting D2 looks
