Props to the Green hit glad to see everbody ok, that shook the stands. Hayes is an animal and will be special. Hergott made some great catches and Green had one that was ruled out of bounds but sensational regardless. This might be the most talented receiving group from top to bottom ever.

Really glad to hear this about Hayes. Watching him last year I got the impression he was pretty easy to bring down - didn't have the punishing mentality like he did on defense. Never been any doubt about what he could do once you get him out in space, but didn't show me much up the gut. So, just glad to know he's finally bringing that attitude to the offensive side of the ball.

Nice game summary TOG. I believe Jack Grimm (#86) TE recovered the fumble and scored the first TD for the Birds.

Why doesn't Dressman play the entire game at QB?

 

He played several positions last night -- QB, RB, WR and maybe even some TE. Any way to get him the ball was a good idea by CCH. Talented player.

CCH faithful -- I counted about 25 dressed out for CCH. Is that a typical roster size for CCH JV squad? Are there a bunch of injuries? Just expected to see more like 30 - 40.

Who played in this game for Cov Cath that didn't play against Beechwood JV last week?

Matt Schmall(sp) was injured last week and did not play at Beechwood/

There is really no difference between what Allen did on Monday than what a player would do trying to score on the perimeter. As soon as the ball breaks the plane of the goal line it's a TD. Now, if the player doesn't have control of the ball(which Allen did) while attempting to score than it could be ruled a fumble. Which it was not!
