Fairview my beat us by 50. And then again they may not. I think I could coach the eagles and win these games! Fairview is very good. But my goodness play someone who has won a game or two.

If you play some of the better teams in the area like Ashland, Russell, Pikeville. Teams that are proven winners. Then there is no doubt on how good your season was. You'll prove to everone where you stack up to against the rest.

They are the equivilent of a Rose Hill with a football program. No disrespect to Rose Hill, but i seriously doubt the Eagles will be tested this week. Their backups might get tested.

Thanks for the info, I had not heard of them but then again I didn't know much about Portmouth East/Sciotiville either. After that one I found out that the two kids that were so dominating in that one are getting serious looks from some big time people. The qb is being recruited by Ohio State as a WR and the RB has had interest from Iowa and Michigan.

Ohio schools for the most part are better thn on our side of the river but Fairview probably has found an exception.

I understand what you are saying but looking a how they have been whipping up on us lately maybe they have the better idea :idunno:. Fairview is more than very talented, they are a tremendous football team. They will probably roll another opponet and get more front page pics and articles, coverage on WSAZ tv.

Ashland could probably beat them but anyone else in our area would have more than they could handle with Fairview.

OOPS!! I messed up and hit Grove City on the poll by mistake. What a misake on my part. (and I never make mistakes :sssh:)

You know, Fairview is a very talented team but geesh, come on. You have to work really hard to compile a schedule like this. I agree with the earlier post that F'view may beat us by 50 but atleast we go play teams that are bigger and present a challenge. We would be 6-0 with this schedule!!!!!!

Now, with a prediction..........I could play tailback in this one and have a stellar day. Fairview names the score in this one.

I know what you mean. Like I said/meant, how can anyone argue with them considering the sucsess they have had.

 

I wish that some Fairview fans would get on here, their kids deserve some mention.

We don't have a game this week and we have to find someting to do. Besides, I am fairly positive I am correct in stating that Grove City is not that strong. Of course, the same thing was said about Sciotoville Community..............

Thats what I said. Grove City is 3-2 on their season and we don't know how good they or their competition in Ohio is (BTW, Port East is on their schedule).

Someone at Fairview probably has a connction with someone for them to play school near Columbus.

G.C.C. is a newer school that is slowly building their program the right way.

They have some talent with one player getting some D-1 looks.

I do not think this one will be close, with F-View winning.

I don't know why there is such a source of animosity about Fairview's schedule with Raceland fans. Bottom line, the real Fairview Eagles will either be exposed or prepared for the post season and we will all know soon enough. So, you can pick on their schedule if you like, the proof will be in the post season pudding.

And I'm not sure that I subscribe to the notion that a beatdown is always good either. I realize there has to be a happy medium. A schedule of creampuffs doesn't prepare you for the post season, but getting your hind end handed to you doesn't help much either IMO.
