I was disappointed in Cowboy too. Suppose he went with the numbers 4 v 2 , instead of splitting against Coach at 3 v 3. I believe Coach is more loyal to Edna than anyone and Albert had the right idea to get rid of her while they can. If I’m Albert, I would seriously consider telling Brandon about Coach having the idol to stir things up between them.

I have no doubt Brandon would reveal that Albert told him this. Then Albert would lose everyone in his tribe except for Sophie and maybe Cowboy. Doesn't seem like a very strong alliance at that point and one that would get killed post-merge.

Okay, I have to say it and if I make you mad I apologize as I am not trying to but here goes....from my heart.

 

I believe in God. I am torn sometimes as to what branch of religion I belong to but I believe in God. What Coach is doing is absurd to me. If I was in that group they would vote me out because I would let them know I am not praying every five minutes with you. Especially if I know you have been lying. God does not have a favorite tribe or a favorite Survivor. They are so over the top and with Coach constantly praying and manipulating Brandon(who I still can't stand) and all of them praying all of the time yet Coach is lying at the same time? Doesn't seem right to me. Especially when he isn't praying for forgiveness or coming clean to everyone else. That isn't what God intended the use of prayer for, IMO. To manipulate people in a reality tv show? Coach is no different than Russell and may be worse as he uses God to create a false image of himself. It has gotten to the point where their fanaticism with God is getting on my last nerve and I hope they all lose. Of course then they'll say it was God's plan for them to lose. Drives me nuts.

 

 

I like Ozzie and his plan. I hope it doesn't backfire on him. I'd like to see him win. If Cochran does turn into the bad guy I'd like to see how he can manage to pull it off without getting voted off after they flush out the idol.

 

 

Why wouldn't Ozzie's tribe want Christine instead of Cochran? Me personally, I am voting out everybody I think is smarter than me starting from day one. As soon as Cochran and Harvard were mentioned in the same sentence they should have gotten rid of him.

Ozzy volunteered and asked to be voted to Redemption Island, because they feel the merger is coming next week, and that the winner of RI will be coming back into the game, so this way he can win and rejoin his tribe and they'll have the numbers. Stupidest play in Survivor history IMO.

Christine won again and sent MiKayla home from Redemption Island.

 

When Christine won, Ozzy decided he wanted to send himself to RI to beat her if they lose the challenge, thinking the merge is next week, then rejoin his tribe so they still have even numbers.

 

Lots of praying on that episode. I'm a Christian and I think its cool when it gets mentioned from time to time, but not 50% of the dialogue in an hour.

 

Coach tells his whole tribe that they found the idol and that they will use it to their advantage after the merge, thinking it will rally the troops.

 

Cochran blew a challenge, Ozzy got furious and threw a temper tantrum for a minute, yelling and kicking stuff. They get back to camp, and it appears Ozzy changed his tune about wanting to go to RI. Jim and Keith were not pleased with the idea of Ozzy going to begin with. At tribal Ozzy announced he was sacrificing himself, gave his idol to Cochran with the thought that he'd give it back when Ozzy returned. I really thought Jim and Keith would still vote out Cochran, but they didn't.

It's one of those 'stupid if he fails, genius if it works' type plans. Kind of like Belichick going for it on 4th and 2 on his own 28 yard line against the Colts in 2009.

Don't forget that Coach had the whole tribe looking for the idol that he already had and they also prayed to find the idol before they went out looking for it and then prayed and gave thanks to God as a tribe after they 'found' the idol.

I'm already excited about seeing crazy Brandon after he views last night's episode. I hope Russell is at the reunion show too so he can call out Coach.

I don't really care for all the prayer either PP92. If I was on that show, I am sure that I would have some prayers on my own, but its getting to the point where even as a Christian I'm getting rather annoyed by it. The prayer the Coach made everyone do after the Challenge was a little ridiculous to me, and I like Coach. To each his own, but I feel like the producers must not have had a lot of good footage or strategy talk if they had to focus so much on praying this week.

 

For the sake of good TV, and I'm not a huge fan of Ozzy...I hope the plan fails miserably. I'm not sure how I'd rather it play out. Ozzy beats Christine, but there isn't a merge yet and then his former tribe loses another player to RI. Or who knows, maybe Ozzie loses to Christine at RI, can never tell with some of those challenges, whether it be a puzzle, or matching game.

If they've paid attention, it should be easy to tell that Christine would want nothing to do with her former tribe if she was there during the merge, especially if Coach was still around. The bold above is why Ozzie's plan is stupid. Christine is not going to join up with Coach's tribe at the merge. So if Christine wins, she would have hooked up with Ozzie's tribe anyway. That being the case, why not send Cochran because it doesn't matter who comes out of the RI challenge between Christine or Cochran, either one would align with the Ozzie tribe.

I think Coach and Sophie are in the best positions right now. I really like Jim, Ozzy, and Albert, but they'll all get voted out as soon as the merger allows due to how physically superior they are to everyone else when it comes to competitions.

I will give you Ozzy and Albert for sure. Besides just strength, I dont' really feely like Jim brings much to the table. He hasn't really excelled to much in many of the challenges, maybe his strategy. I don't think he last very long in any of the endurance challenges.
