Fantasy Football Advice: Week Two

Featured Replies

It's interesting to go back and see how the advice everyone gives works out. So far, it seems like BGP is very knowledgable on FF.

Also... Cam Newton is about to become a very valuable trade asset of mine. If he has one more big week, I think I can get a VERY good player for him.

In regards to the Jamaal Charles injury.. I picked up Dexter Mcluster in the middle of the week for some reason. He got his fair share of touches in week 1 and just seemed like he could be explosive at some point in the season, and now it looks like he may get an opportunity. I may have lucked out with that random pick up.

I drafted him thinking we the league was an PPR league, now looks to be a good choice...

I drafted him because I'm an idiot and that's what idiots do. Looks like it may pay off, though!

Darren Sproles is going to make me start him, and when I do he's going to play terrible... Because that's what my players do.

Let's see. My 2 starting backs are Felix Jones and Arian Foster. Yikes! Oh also have Miles Austin as # 2 wr. Big trouble.

Would you give up Fred Jackson for DeSean Jackson...straight up?

I have...

RB Chris Johnson

RB Matt Forte

RB Fred Jackson

RB Shonn Greene

RB Brandon Jacobs

WR Brandon Marshall

WR Anquan Boldin

WR Deion Branch

WR Nate Burrelson

WR Braylon Edwards

We start 2 RBs 2 WRs and a flex. Thoughts?

^ That is a hard one. You can afford to give him up. I think it might be worth it.

I'd sit tight for now. CJ isn't exactly lighting things up at the moment. He may end up being the biggest bust of the year.

Guy in my league lost Charles. He sent me this today:

Tom Brady

for

Tony Romo

Ben Tate

Willis McGahee

While the only weakness on my team is depth, upgrading from Romo to Brady for 2 bench players is certainly appealing. My starting lineup is:

Tony Romo

Darren McFadden

Rashard Mendenhall

Vincent Jackson

Mike Wallace

Larry Fitzgerald

Jimmy Graham

I think I'm taking it.

^No.

On paper I said the same thing. But what am I going to do with Tate and McGahee on my bench? No room for them in my starting lineup.

Exactly your team might be better overall but what does it really do for you?

Not to mention Romo has a cracked rib and has potentially lost Austin for a couple weeks.

And punctured lung.

Which side are you on?
