September 14, 201115 yr RB's a crapshoot, both are splitting carries. I'd say Grant because they're going to have a lead at the end of the game and run the ball to eat up the clock. Cowboys D, stop the run and they stop San Francisco. I don't think the Texan's D is that much better than NE. I tend to agree. I hadn't thought about the probability of GB milking clock until you guys pointed it out. Thanks. Even last week when Woodhead had a bigger than expected workload and Grant didn't, the point difference was 2. One good goalline carry will put Grant above Woodhead a lot of weeks. I was thinking Woodhead might get more receptions this week.
September 14, 201115 yr :puke:  I think he'll have a big year. I was pretty happy to get him in the 8th round of our draft. Most of the lists I had still had several guys rated above him. Will New England be the first team in fantasy history to field two TE's worthy of starting nearly every week?

I guess I would pick Grant if I had to. I would play the Texans D.
September 14, 201115 yr But then, which should I trade? IMO, you'll get better return value for Schaub.
September 14, 201115 yr IMO, you'll get better return value for Schaub. I wonder. Unless you are deperate for help elsewhere, I'd keep both. I think Stafford's value will be higher after a couple more games. I think he's going to be a stud this year.

I think he's going to be a stud this year. I agree on keeping both depending on weaknesses at other positions. But right here, this week, Schaub has more value. If Stafford stays healhy, he will have some serious value down the road.
September 15, 201115 yr Author People really don't understand the waiver wire in my other league. I'm the commissioner and I've had two different people complain to me and didn't understand why they didn't get the guys they wanted if they put them in right after MNF...well cause you guys have the top two scores in the league...geez. haha
September 15, 201115 yr I wonder. Unless you are deperate for help elsewhere, I'd keep both. I think Stafford's value will be higher after a couple more games. I think he's going to be a stud this year. He's already a stud. He just needs to stay healthy. Look at his numbers last year.
September 15, 201115 yr He's already a stud. He just needs to stay healthy. Look at his numbers last year. I agree. And, if given a choice between the two for the entire season, I'd rather have Stafford. But, injuries have prevented him from gaining that status to date. I expect him to stay healthy and light it up this year. I think he'll be a top 10 fantasy QB and rank higher than Schaub for the season. It is ironic that we're having this discussion about Stafford and Schaub, because staying healthy was the big question for Schaub his first two years in Houston. The same things were being said about him. Staying healthy was preventing him from emerging as a top notch fantasy QB. Two straight seasons of 16 games have put him there. I think Stafford starts this year and I think he's a more talented player. Both have studs to throw to.
September 16, 201115 yr Ok guys who is the fantasy football expert? Here is my starters and my bench who do you think I should start? I really want to start Cobb this week but not sure I have a slot to. The guy(my boss) I am playing just traded Freeman for Brady so I really won't beat him because he is doing some cheating! I might trade Steve Smith for Wes Welker if it gets approved before Sunday. QB Chad Henne, Mia QB RB Reggie Bush, Mia RB RB Peyton Hillis, Cle RB RB/WR Mike Tolbert, SD RB WR Calvin Johnson, Det WR P WR DeSean Jackson, Phi WR TE Aaron Hernandez, NE TE D/ST Lions D/ST D/ST K Neil Rackers, Hou K Bench Matt Schaub, Hou QB Bench Jason Witten, Dal TE Bench Eagles D/ST D/ST Bench Colt McCoy, Cle QB Bench Tim Hightower, Wsh RB Bench Steve Smith, Car WR Bench Randall Cobb, GB WR
