:lol: PepRock and I were just talking cars the other day (as he was helping me out of a car-related pickle). He was going off about Smart Cars and I was saying I'd love to have one. Frankly, I think my Focus is pretty cute, fun, eco-smart and patriotic. :D I prefer to think it's very Independent of me. :D

Congrats! Good pick I have heard nothing but good things about those cars.

 

I can't find any major complaints online about it. I'm looking forward to owning a car that doesn't need $500-$1200 a pop pumped into it when it goes into the shop. :lol:

Car payment kind of stinks but the peace of mind is worth it.

 

AMEN. I've never had a car payment before, so this'll be an adjustment. But my car insurance only went up $30 bucks a month, and the payment is well within my means. Since I started driving ~75 miles each way to work, I am looking at it as an investment in my future (I know I'll be able to get to work) and a health benefit (I'm less likely to have a wreck because my car started falling apart around me on I-64).

I have a 2007 Ford Focus. It's proven very reliable... Haven't had it in the shop at all.

 

My biggest complaint: It's a 4-door Sedan... And All of the doors seem to stick sometimes... Sometimes to the point that people think they're locked when they're actually not.

This is such great news...and I hope this 2010 car is a result of the mess they put you in the other night. In any case, you deserve it! :thumb:

Congrat RM, I'm hoping to buy one in the next year or so. My ole Honda has lasted me all the way thru college and I'm sure it could last a few years longer but I'd like something that is a bit more aesthetically pleasing. I'm hoping that once I get the motorcycle paid off in the next few months then I can start doing a little car shopping.
