Maybe you skipped the first page then, a complaint ended public prayer, so yeah it told the fine Christians of Bell Co they couldnt say their prayer before a game.

 

But oh yeah, you just want a personal prayer so it dont bring attention and hurt others and make them feel out of place like a religion is being shoved down their throat. You want Christians to be tolerant, but others dont have to be tolerant.

UK, Marvel I'm just speaking from the Bible. I gave verses. Marvel, same God but the Jewish people don't believe Jesus as Savior, God sent Jesus to earth to Save his people from their sins for salvation and eternal life. Matthew 7:13.

 

UK, I believe its so because thats what the scriptures teach, I can give you books of verses that state this, not me but the Bible. You are entitled but why are you questioning my Faith? I have said on here I'd give others a chance to pray over the speakers, I'd write no groups and complain. Didn't you read what I wrote?

 

The reason I give verses is to share my beliefs and my points, if you folks want I'll explain the verses but like to give them so y'all can look them up on your own.

 

Jesus said in John 14:6.."No one comes to the Father except thru me". So, if a Jewish person doesn't believe Jesus and salvation are connected, then how can they come to the Father?

 

I'm not questioning you or your faith AL, not in any way.

 

I'm simply stating that what you're saying and posting (bible references, verses, etc.) is what YOU believe. I'm just pointing out that what you believe isn't what others believe necessarily, and we have to be aware that not everyone believes the same thing or in this case, in the same god.

That was a mojor point I was showing, and any time I can I'll share that, you never know when someone might read this and decide to follow Jesus with his heart. 1st Samual 16:7.

 

Don't forget anyone can pray at the game, its the loudspeaker in question.

P.S. Don't assume (you do know what happens when you assume, right) it was atheists who filed the complaint. The article makes no mention of the complaining parties religious beliefs, for all we know a Christian was uncomfortable by this.

I am very tolerant of others and their beliefs, but it has to be both ways and it isnt. peopel like you wasn tchristian to be tolerant, but also let others get their way at the cost of Christians.
