Scott County best 6A team outside of Louisville?

Featured Replies

Is Scott County the best 6A team outside of the Louisville teams? If not who and why?

It is hard to say but it looks very possible. The Cards early season schedule isn't going to do much to tell us either.

Possible; if not the Cardinals, I would likely be between Dixie and Henry Clay. I believe that Henry Clay returns some talented players from last year's team; other than that, I don't know much else due to not being familiar with them. Dixie returns a good team with a great quarterback, and I would be very surprised if they do not win the NKY 6A district between all that Ryle and Simon Kenton lost last season and Campbell, Conner, and Boone being in the situations that they are currently in.

No, but by the end of the season they could be. Scott Co. scrimmaged Louisville Central last friday and was behind 27-23 when the varsity teams stopped playing. I know LC is good, but their record vs 6A schools would tell me Scott Co. needs a little more work.

Dixie Heights has better coaching and a better offensive scheme.

I would like to see Dixie be top dog in NKY 6A, but they've had talent and size before and continually underachieve.

I would not call coaching a strong suit at Dixie by a longshot. Agree with OlDog about underachievment.
