Entourage: The Final Season

Featured Replies

Anybody else as geeked for the final season as I am? :dancingpa

This is my one of my favorite shows of all time and along with Sons of Anarchy a show that I watch religiously. I am working midnights this week so I'll have to wait until Monday morning when I get off at 8 to watch it. :irked:

I'm watching it more or less because I've stuck with it this long. But I have a ton of problems with the show at this point. The "dark side" of Vince could at least be interesting. Though I kind of think Molly Lambert nailed it with this idea:

The most hilarious thing about this season and last is the idea that it would have taken Vince seven years of being an A-list (is Vince supposed to be A-list?) actor to develop a raging coke problem. And that the other dudes would care about his coke problem affecting his work and personal life, and not just be worried the money is going to run out.

I read that article with her and Klosterman. I started off open minded but then my bias set it.:D It's a fictional show loosely based on Wahlberg's life and they also saw some similarities in Leo's career(especially the womanizing from Vince) but at the end of the day it is a fictional tv show. I don't ask much from any show other than to be entertained and Entourage goes above and beyond when it comes to entertainment. I think Lambert and Klosterman over analyzed the show wayyyyy tooo much. Especially when Klosterman said they stole a story line from Happy Days and Lambert was lost on that claim. There has never been a season I didn't like and the claim that they always win is false as well. They just recover and keep it moving. What else would they do? Wahlberg didn't pack up and move back to Boston with his mom so why should Vincent Chase?:D

YES, I cannot wait. I started watching Entourage last summer. Rented all the seasons and watched every episode in less than a week.

The other night they were showing the last 5-6 episodes from last season on HBO. It lasted until 2 in the morning and watched the whole block and had to be at work at 6:30. Nevermind that I have seen every episode made at least twice a piece. This show always gets me sucked in no matter when I watch it.

I dont have HBO so Ill have to wait a day or two before I can find it and watch online probably.

Watching Farewell tribute show now and its good.

Im with former. Im watching bc Ive stuck with it too long not to now. The show isnt what it used to be.

It isn't what it used to be but I still love this show. I liked the episode last night however, I wish they wouldn't have fast forwarded so much. At the same time we have 7 episodes to get the back story and set the movie up. I ain't mad.

I do not like the writing and Turtle needs to get back to eating cheeseburgers. He is anorexic looking. I hate seeing Ary acting like such a weak pathetic wuss. Adding Dice Clay was cool for a minute but he's already wearing me out. I'm just not impressed.

I am easy to please. Reality....if Turtle is going to date Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Alex on the show then he needs to be skinnier. That's just a fact of life. Those girls wouldn't hook up with a fat dude regardless of his entourage.

Ari just hooked up with Dana Gordon. Doesn't seem like a wuss to me. Would your wife like it if you hooked up with a former flame that she knows about while you are separated? Ari is being Ari to me.

Dice is Dice. I like his role so far.

There is a problem with your first argument. Jamie-Lynn Sigler did actually hook up with Turtle.

Turtle and Jonah Hill must have been counting Weight Watcher points together.

The 20 minute episodes like last night do nothing but enrage me. Not many developing story lines developing besides Ari.

I've enjoyed the last couple of episodes.
