Anyone know if any interviews have been scheduled?

I am not sure if there is any interest on either part but a name that pops into my mind that would be an excellent coach with this Montgomery County team would be former Royals asssistant and current Pike Central head coach Kelly Carwile.

I think Jay Bordas from Bourbon county would be a nice fit for this position.

Jeff Davis, assistant at Simon Kenton would be a good hire for Montgomery Co. He has proven on the AAU circuit that he can coach. He beat a very highly ranked Indiana Elite team and came in runner-up in the tourney against the best teams from across the US. He has coached on the AAU circuit such player as, Remy Able, Lyonel Gains, Robbie Stenzel, Anthony Hickey, and George Fant. All players that have gone D-1. Hope Montgomery Co will give him a interview...they will be impressed with what he can bring to the Boys program and teaching staff.

Just because you have a lot of talent doesn’t means you can win, you know that. The coach makes a huge difference. Look at the AAU Indy Elite 17U. They are made up of mostly commitments. Went to Vegas and lost all 3 games, they didn't win a tourney this year. With all the talent Davis had, to get the boys to play together while also trying to impress college coaches and win....takes a very good coach to do that.

Are there any coaches that have sons who could transfer with father and make an immediate impact and help the Indians make it to Rupp??

I heard there was a coach from Louisville area was their top candidate at this time, I cannot remember his name.

Thought he took a high school job in Indiana. I'm not certain of that however.

 

Interesting name. He did more with less at DeSales. Then did less with more at Male.

Well it certainly looks like with the Western Hills hire, that it won't be Tom Crews getting the Montgomery County job.

Heard the new AD is from Union County.
