At the same time, it is important to have a teacher in the building.

Any word on this position?

Good question! Did they ask anyone else back for a second interview besides Davis? Of course he never had that second interview, as SL gave him their coaching position quickly after the first interview before he was to return to Beechwood, I guess SL had everything lined up and were ready and serious about finding a coach. School starts a week from today, sure hope they decide on someone soon!

SL obviously did a good job at the end in taking Davis before Beechwood had another crack at him, but to say they had everything lined up is obviously far from truth. It is well documentated SL took over 2 months to find a coach.

But, they did have a coach but as was also well documented their were issues and they could not hire him. But, when a school has all of the people making the decision in front of you in the interview, they before you leave the building you are hired, that's "line up" lol. I just never was a fan of the second interview thing, you see everyone and know what you like and or don't like the first time.

Questions, do schools tell those interested on what kind of team is coming back? What to and not to expect during their first season?

But, I still hope Miller gets the job! Would be the best coach for them! There are just some things in the way at a small school, such as not being able to have practice on Saturday's and all because of the rec league, I guess the new elementary gym is on hold now? Would be nice if sometime they can get more gym space.

Also hope to see the new Fieldhouse, looks great from the outside, I am sure it's the same inside.

What is taking them so long? There can't be that many applicants!
