July 18, 201115 yr no-no's: Heating up smelly things in the microwave. Making a page and forgetting to hang up. Making extraordinarily long pages. Drinking the last cup of coffee out of the pot and not making more. Worse, drinking most of the last of the coffee, and leaving the pot on the burner.
July 19, 201115 yr Overusing office speak...or even just using it at all as far as I'm concerned. Why do you have to talk like some kind of wierdo just because you're standing in an office? Do you actually ask people to "please advise" in a normal conversation, or do you just ask them to help you out with a question that you have? Do you really say FYI (eff-why-eye) when you're trying to tell a friend something that you think they may want to be aware of? Some others: "let's talk about this offline" "think outside the box" "we need to look at this from 360-degrees" "drill down"... I think all of the folks who insist on using office-speak clichès should be forced to always wear a scarlet C to warn you as they approach. That's right, I'm talking to you, Mister "It Is What Is".
July 19, 201115 yr Worse, drinking most of the last of the coffee, and leaving the pot on the burner. Yep...that annoys the crap out of me. Conversely, we've got that one guy in the office who drinks afternoon coffee. He makes a whole pot at about 2:30pm, and then he turns off the coffee maker and leaves the 4/5 full pot to sit and get all gross and funky until the next morning.
