Track the NL Central Champion Reds - 2nd Half (Week 1)

It is kind of interesting that Stubbs is out of the lineup after the break....Stubbs 0-4 against Westbrook, Heisey 1-3 with a HR....I guess that's why, but it's not much of a sample.

Dusty doesn't need a big sample, 1 for 1 would be plenty.

Heisey is faster and I guess Dusty figures he can steal a base. Oh but wait, Dusty won't let them run will he?

Heisey has 4 SB in his career and has been caught 3 times. Where do you come up with this stuff?

Do you just make stuff up?

Not saying you're wrong because honestly I think they're about the same speed, but what basis do you have to say for sure Heisey is faster of the two?

I disagree....I think Lewis is every bit as quick as Heisey.

Heisey 3 sbs and Lewis none. That's all Dusty needs to know to make the call.

I am being facetious can't you tell? I am not making out the lineup, Dusty is why don't you ask him.

Not sure how much of an upgrade they'd be, but the Royals have made it known that Francoeur and Melky are available....:idunno:

I'd run from Francoeur has fast as possible.

In his career, Lewis has 51 SB and has been caught 22 times.

Lewis is 0 for 4 this year and Heisey 3 for 4. Dusty is the statman you know. 75% is better than 0% .

I have no clue either but Welsh says Heisey is 1 step slower than Stubbs. However much slower that is.

So would I, but Melky is intriguing IMO.

I don't believe anything the crafty left-hander says

The Reds don't need more parts to be mixed and matched and plugged in here and there. What they really need is a big hitter in the middle of their lineup. They need someone to give them what Rolen gave them the first half of last season.

Me either but he sure seems to know a lot about everything and he has taught Thom so much over the last few years, haha!!

You hit the nail on the head, maybe what we really need is for Rolen to go down for an extended period of time and force Jocketty to make a move.
