Track The NL Central Champion Reds (Week 10)

Featured Replies

A quality start for the most overrated pitcher in the game. Perhaps the Reds are the most overrated team in the game. They have one good season and everybody jumps on their wagon. I wonder where my avatar betting buddy is tonight. One down. One to go. The shoplifter gets rocked tomorrow as Marcum stifles the Reds.

Some of us have lives and don't sit around waiting for the Reds to lose...

I guess nobody has a life when the Reds are winning.

I've missed my fair share of Reds wins this year too...

How are the cellar dwelling Dodgers doing, after tonight they should be. 5 gm out of LAST place lol...Its probably best that your not on Tom night because you will probably get ripped hard after the Reds win and you lose your Avatar bet...

I guess Dodgers fans have no life either way

This is no surprise. Contrary to what UKMustangFan believes Greinke is pretty good.

I really don't understand people who get their jollies on being negative and ripping on others. Where is the fun in that? Isn't it more fun to root for someone or some team versus trying to constantly belittle and tear someone or some team down? I just don't get it and personally don't know why anyone wastes their team feeding it. I guess if you want to be "right" at the end of the day, be negative. Only one team is going to be World Champ so as long as the team you are ripping doesn't win it all, you can say I told you so. Maybe that is the reason some choose to be a hater. Who knows? What ever ... I am :walk:

Drew Stubbs looked like he'd never seen big league pitching his last 3 AB's yesterday.

They had him on the ropes all night, just couldn't deliver the big hit. He looked very average. He throws that way and he'll lose more than he wins IMO.

Stubbs still puzzles me. How can a guy be so "on it" his 1st two ABs, then look so incredibly lost the next 3??

The strike zone was a bit rediculous in his defense but still when you have the speed of Stubbs there is no reason to not at least poke the ball in play somewhere...He strikes out looking way to much...

He knew the last 2 called thirds were strikes. Never hesitated on his way back to the pine. Big spots too.

They did have him on the ropes and Dusty made it easy on him by patting Roenike with bases juiced and none out...That was a high stress inning and I think the pitcher is the only guy Greinke could've fooled that inning...I agree I mean Greinke is good but he will never be in contention for another Ch Young, his stuff is no better than Homer Bailey and that's not knocking Homer at all just saying Greinke is hyped up a bit much...

He argued the last one...

He argued the last one...
Were all 3 K's looking? I saw 2, Estrada was one. I was channel hopping to the Heat/Mavs. Didn't see him argue any of them. I may have missed one.

He struck out to end the game on a breaking ball at least 6 inches outside and got in the umps face for a few seconds...
